Our cardboard containers are made from 100% post-consumer recycled fibers. We recycle 100% of the containers and paper collected during the unpacking or post-move pickup.
Unwanted yet usable furniture is donated to charities and families in need. Employees are encouraged to bring items like batteries, computers, tv sets and light bulbs to our Employee Recycling center.
Our fleet is systematically being upgraded to SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology. Using DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid, usually automotive-grade urea) this type of After Treatment System converts NOx (nitrogen oxide) emissions into pure nitrogen and water vapor, two natural elements in the air we breathe.
With SCR technology the levels of emissions exhausted by the engine are reduced as follows:
- NOx emissions by up to 90%
- Hydrocarbons (HC) and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions by 50-90%
- Particulate matter (PM) emissions by 30-50%
